AI Act
The AI Act read by someone who has to build on it: real deadlines, postponements that are not grace periods, and risk classification decided before the code.
I read the AI Act as an engineering document, not as a text to be commented on in the abstract. What interests me is what changes on Monday morning for whoever designs a system that decides about a person: risk classification, logs, human oversight, technical documentation. When the Digital Omnibus postponed the high-risk obligations, the pressure did not move by a single day, because it never came from the deadline. That is what I write about: fixed dates, precise articles, and what is worth doing before it becomes irreparable.
